Ahmed Sharif (born 31 August 1991 in B. Fehendhoo) is a Maldivian film and web-series actor who has built his career gradually through both behind-the-scenes and on-screen work. Before acting, he worked in film production as a foley artist and boom operator, gaining practical experience that later informed his performances. He moved into acting around 2019, first appearing in television and digital projects that helped establish his screen presence.

He gained early recognition for his role in the series Ehenas, where he played a short-tempered brother, followed by performances in anthology projects such as Hatharu Manzaru (segment Ruqyah) and Mazloom. These projects allowed him to explore varied character types, ranging from emotionally driven roles to darker and more intense personalities. He continued expanding his television and web-series work with roles in productions such as Netheemey, where he appeared as one of the leads.

Sharif later transitioned into feature films, appearing in Free Delivery (2023) and Zoya (2023), and making a special appearance in Hindhukolheh (2023). Alongside mainstream projects, he has also been recognized for his work in short films, winning Best Supporting Actor – Short Film at the 3rd Karnataka International Film Festival for his performance in Ruqyah.

His latest work is the 2025 feature film Lily, which became a major success in the Maldives. The film stands as one of the most commercially successful Maldivian releases of the year and further strengthened his position in the industry. With a body of work spanning web series, short films, and feature cinema, Ahmed Sharif continues to be an active presence in contemporary Maldivian screen entertainment.
