Hassan Haleem is a Maldivian filmmaker and cinematographer involved in both directing and camera work for Dhivehi films. He has worked in various roles across the local film industry, including cinematography on several projects and directing his own feature film. 

Haleem’s work as cinematographer includes films such as Hukuru Vileyrey (2006), Hama Himeyn (2004), and Udhabaani 2 (2024), where he was responsible for the visual look and camera work on these productions. He also appears as an actor in projects like the short children’s film Bulhaa Dhombe (2009). 

In 1993, Haleem co‑directed Gudhurathuge Niyaa with Fazeen Ahmed, contributing both to direction and cinematography in the early part of his career. 

In 2024, he directed Gellunu Rey, a horror film produced under Coco Studio, marking his first feature film direction credit. As director and cinematographer on the project, Haleem oversaw the film’s visual storytelling and narrative execution. Gellunu Rey was released in October 2024.
