Aishath Rishmy Rameez (born 15 November 1985 in Malé, Maldives) is a prominent Maldivian actress, film director, producer, screenwriter, editor, and choreographer with a career spanning over two decades. She is one of the most acclaimed figures in contemporary Dhivehi cinema and a recipient of multiple major awards, including three Gaumee Film Awards and two Maldives Film Awards. In 2019, she was honored with the National Award of Special Achievement by the Government of Maldives in recognition of her international accolades and contributions to the industry. 

Daughter of veteran actress Aminath Rasheedha and elder sister to actress Mariyam Azza, Rishmy began in music video production before making her acting and co-directorial debut in the horror film Hukuru Vileyrey (2006), earning a Gaumee Film Award nomination for Best Actress. She continued to build her career both in front of and behind the camera with projects like Fanaa (winning Best Supporting Actress and a directing nomination) and notable roles in psychological thrillers InsaanaMikoe Bappa Baey Baey, and Vishka. It was Vishka that brought her international recognition, winning her the Best Actress award at the SAARC Film Festival in 2017, a first for a Maldivian actress. 

Rishmy has also appeared in web series such as Ehenas and Biruveri Vaahaka and in 2023 released Yaaraa, her ambitious 50-episode romantic comedy series. Known for her versatility and depth, she remains one of the Maldives’ most influential creative talents in film and digital storytelling.
