“This is a great opportunity for young people,” he says. “If you know how to navigate it, TikTok can open doors.”

He dreams of becoming a prominent live host on a global scale, competing with top gamers and creators worldwide. As technology and digital opportunities grow in the Maldives, he believes the country has the potential to produce international stars.
“God willing, with the support of family, friends, and their ideas, I’m working towards that goal,” he says with determination.
Boduberu Forever
Despite his TikTok fame, Badunaseeb hasn’t forgotten his roots. Boduberu remains close to his heart, and he continues to perform whenever he gets the chance. For him, this traditional art form is the “lifeblood of Maldivians.”
“I’ll always be a part of Boduberu,” he affirms. “It’s who we are as a people, and it’s something I’ll carry with me no matter where I go.”
